At 39w2d, my cervix is closed and firm. This does not surprise me at all. My OB says after the due date they'll start sending me to the hospital for ultrasounds to make sure the baby's still doing all right in there. Sounds like they'll start talking induction one week to ten days after the due date.
Come on, baby, I sooo don't want to be induced!
I'm feeling very nervous about this whole labour and delivery thing right at this moment.

You'll be fine!!! I will be sending you lots of easy labour vibes and hoping you don't have to be induced!!!! I'm sure your body and baby boy will know exactly when the right time is :-)
